Foothill VuBounce v2

My second try at a large bounce reflector with flash bracket. This time around, I used thinner 1/2 PVC pipe, which is lighter than 3/4", added a horizontal bar so that I could set it down, and a few screws into the fittings to prevent the flash arm from twisting. It's now pretty solid, but still a little heavy.

  • Here's my contraption in all it's PVC glory. Basically, it's a flash reflector made from a car's sunshade ($3) and about $7 of PVC pipe and fittings from Home Depot. A little heavier than the California Sunbounce that inspired it, but a whole lot lighter on the wallet.

  • This thing makes some pretty hard light. Probably better off using it outdoors, or switching to a matte white panel.
