Quick Strap Lite: DIY Removable Velcro Flash Strap

A removable, non-destructive DIY velcro flash strap inspired by the Honlphoto Speed Strap. Now you can stick stuff to your flash without gluing velcro onto it. This version is easier to manage and cheaper to make. It's strong enough for most modifiers, but nowhere near as strong as the original version. Disclaimers: the adhesive can melt onto your flash at extreme temperatures. Buy Honlphoto's version if you need high temperature use or greater durability.

  • Tennis racket grip tape provides lots of traction. This pack makes 9 straps with this recipe. I used yellow this time for contrast, but it's available in many different colors, including black for those who want to look more "pro".
